About Full Day Chaltén + Mirador de Los Cóndores y Chorrillo del Salto

Distance: 2.5 km Our day begins with a journey toward the northern area of Los Glaciares National Park, traveling over 200 kilometers from El Calafate to El Chaltén. About halfway, we’ll make a short stop at La Leona Roadhouse, where we’ll spend around 15 minutes before continuing our trip. Once in El Chaltén, we’ll start our hike to the Condors Viewpoint (Mirador de los Cóndores) — a trail of low difficulty, which takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. From the top, we’ll enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the town, the mountain range, and the iconic Mount Fitz Roy. After returning, we’ll enjoy a well-deserved lunch before visiting Chorrillo del Salto, a short walk leading to a 20-meter-high waterfall surrounded by Patagonian nature. At the end of the visit, we’ll begin our return to El Calafate.
