About Dia de estancia Patagónica

Estancia Lago Pinto was once a control post of the great livestock company Sociedad Explotadora Tierra del Fuego, which in the early 20th century owned much of the Chilean–Argentine Patagonian territory, covering vast lands with thousands of sheep. In the early 1980s, Don Pedro Pivcevic Mimica acquired the estancia. By the late 1990s, his son Iván Pivcevic Pavlovic took over its management, and today it is run by Pedro Pivcevic Jara, Iván’s son — representing the third generation on the ranch. We will ride through the Patagonian fields, enjoy a sheepdog demonstration — showcasing these loyal and essential working companions — and finish the day with a delicious traditional Magellanic lamb barbecue. After this authentic countryside experience, we’ll begin our return to Puerto Natales.
