We’ll start the day by picking you up from your accommodation around 10:00 a.m., heading north through the Última Esperanza Province toward Cerro Castillo. Upon arrival at Estancia El Ovejero, we’ll be welcomed and shown how sheep wool is obtained through the shearing process — from start to finish, including its preparation, sale, and export. We’ll also enjoy a sheepdog demonstration, witnessing how these loyal companions work alongside the shepherds, playing a fundamental role in the operation of the ranch. We’ll delight in authentic Patagonian flavors such as lamb barbecue, pisco sour, homemade bread, pebre, and traditional desserts. Lunch will be served buffet-style, so you’ll be able to choose your favorite cut of lamb to enjoy! Afterwards, we’ll go on a horseback ride of approximately 1 hour through fields of alfalfa, with stunning views of Villa Cerro Castillo and the ranch’s surroundings. No prior riding experience is required — the staff will provide a short introduction, and the activity is suitable for beginners. To end this wonderful day, we’ll enjoy a delicious homemade Magellanic tea before beginning our return to Puerto Natales.
