We will visit Punta Walichu, an archaeological site located just a few kilometers from the city, where we can observe ancient cave paintings. On the way back, we’ll learn about El Calafate and its history, explore the old town and coastal area, and visit the Historical Interpretation Center — where we’ll travel back to prehistoric times and be amazed by life-size reproductions of the dinosaurs that once inhabited this region.
