Description:
Estancia Lago Pinto was a checkpoint of the big livestock company Sociedad Explotadora Tierra del Fuego, which at the beginning of the 20th century, owner of practically all the entire Patagonian region of Chile – Argentina, covering their fields with thousands of sheep. At the beginning of the 80s, Don Pedro Pivcevic Mimica acquired the Estancia.
In the late 90s his son Ivan Pivcevic Pavlovic takes the reins of the place. Today the Estancia is leaded by Pedro Pivcevic Jara, Ivan´s son, third generation at the Farm.
It includes a reception with a brief history about the origins of the estancia, horseback ride through the patagonian fields, witness the work of the sheepdogs, loyal and indispensable work fellows and we will culminate with a tasty patagonian roasted lamb and other delicacies harvested from our greenhouses and vegetable garden. Later we will initiate our return to Puerto Natales.
