Distance: Approximately 14 km Departing in the morning from your accommodation in Puerto Natales, we’ll head toward one of the least-visited yet most scenic trails in Torres del Paine National Park — the perfect place to feel truly immersed in nature. Thanks to its low number of visitors, this area offers excellent opportunities to spot local wildlife. After nearly two hours of travel, we’ll reach the starting point of our adventure: Guardería Laguna Verde. From there, we’ll hike toward the western sector of the park, through a small lenga forest nestled in a valley with constant views of the Paine Range. We’ll skirt around Laguna Verde and enjoy breathtaking views of Laguna Honda and Laguna de los Ciervos, with the Paine Massif providing an unforgettable backdrop. We’ll continue until reaching the Lake Toro Viewpoint (Mirador Lago Toro), which offers a stunning panoramic view of the park’s rivers, lakes, and mountains. From this point, we’ll begin our descent through a sandy area where the Sierra del Toro ends, meeting our vehicle by the Paine River, near Weber Bridge. This approximately 4.5-hour trek is mostly flat, with a steeper and rockier descent at the end, making it a moderate-difficulty hike overall — perfect for those seeking a full day of nature, scenery, and tranquility in Patagonia.
