About Trekking Mirador Cerro Benitez

Located just 24 kilometers north of Puerto Natales, Cerro Benítez is home to the famous Cueva del Milodón, one of Chile’s most important natural reserves. Rising 550 meters above sea level, it offers one of the best viewpoints in the province and is a renowned observation area for the majestic Andean Condor, the largest flying bird in the Andes. These magnificent birds inhabit the rocky cliffs of Benítez, often soaring and perching along the walls, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to observe and photograph them in their natural habitat. During the trek, eagles and condors begin to appear, welcoming us into their domain — a truly unforgettable encounter with Patagonia’s wild beauty.
