Duration 3 hours / Difficulty: Low
Start 09:00am / 15:00hrs
Term 12:00hrs / 18:00hrs (approximately)
Description:
The trail starts for about 15 minutes on a small pampa, where we will cross by domestic gain and we will spot wild species. Once at the bottom of the sierra, expect a nice climb for about an hour and a half up to the famous Dorotea viewpoint.
For this we will go through a beautiful forest with a large amount of birds. When we get out of the forest, we will find ourselves about 600mts above sea level and we will approach to the edge of the mountain range. We will see the great Almirante Montt Gulf with Canal Señoret and the Ultima Esperanza and Eberhard Fjords, the inhospitable peninsula Antonio Varas next to the extensive Cordillera Moore, the white Cordillera Sarmiento of the Canal of the mountains, next to Mount Balmaceda and Southern ice field, the Cordillera Prat and Sierra Señoret, the small town of Puerto Natales and all the rest of the geography that characterizes this area of the country.
