Tour Full Day Paine + Navegación Lago Grey
At 07:00 am we pick you up from your accommodation in Puerto Natales to start our journey to the north of the Province of Ultima Esperanza. We will pass through Cerro Castillo, a rural settlement located in the middle of the Patagonian pampas and border with the country of Argentina. From here we continue crossing the Magellan steppe, until we find great mountains to the west. We will travel the reserve from north to south, making stops at beautiful viewpoints such as Lake Sarmiento, Laguna Amarga, Lake Nordenskjold, Lake Pehoe, making short walks to the viewpoints Salto Grande and Playa Lago Gray. At all times watching the characteristic Patagonian flora and fauna at the foot of the famous Paine Mountain Range.
We will visit one of the most famous glaciers in Patagonia, the beautiful Gray Glacier. The circuit runs around the lake for three hours, navigating through giant ice floes that float adrift, and with the imposing Paine mountain range as a backdrop.
Along with a good whiskey with millenary ice, we will sail along the very front of the glacier, you will be able to appreciate incredible ice falls and see the Southern Ice Field, the third largest freshwater reserve on the planet.
Around 4:00 p.m. you will be returning to the lake beach to walk to our transfer, which will be waiting to return to Puerto Natales along the shore of Lake Toro, the largest lake in the Magallanes region.
